Jackie: A Tale of Perversity and Woe

Jesus Christ, sometimes when I read bad_service I get the impression that the only way it can be bad service is if your server kills your entire family or something. And even then it was still probably your fault.

I was walking home from work when some jag-off in a car yelled at me, "SUCK MY BALLS, BITCH!", and my immediate reaction was to give him the finger and shout "FUCK YOU!" as he sped away.

I've come a long way, peoples.

Me: Since you're just getting this one thing, you can help me out with a contest and buy something to go with it! :D

Woman: Excuse me?

Me: If you want to get something else with your purchase, like candy or anything, it would help me with an employee contest we're having! :D

Woman: *suddenly angry* Why the hell would I help you with anything? I don't even know you! God!

Me: Um... to be nice? But you don't have to, I just --

Woman: Listen, I'm not going to BUY anything else, okay? You shouldn't even ask me to! It's ridiculous!

Me: I have to ask, I'm sorry.

Woman: Why on earth would I help you with a contest? Why would I spend my money helping you?

Me: I'm just trying to do my job. I have to try to sell add-ons. You don't have to buy anything you don't want to.

Woman: Honestly.

Me: Your total comes to $x.xx, have a nice night.

Woman: Hmmph. *storms out*

Me: *mutters* God, what a bitch.

You know what I hate? Idiot people who walk around in Barnes and Noble, loudly proclaiming that Watchmen sucks. Not just the movie, but the comic itself. And then these same people looking at me like I just grew three heads as I walk through the graphic novel section.

I'm not saying that everyone has to LIKE Watchmen. Go ahead and not like it, by all means. But to say that it sucks? That it's downright bad? That only shows how much of a complete and utter tool and moron you are, and that you probably do not understand anything at all about comics, or the history of comics. There is a difference between you not liking something, and said something sucking. Just because you don't care for it does not automatically mean it sucks. So stop trying to be cool and contrary with your friends in a goddamn bookstore and go educate yourselves.

And why the hell were you staring at me like I was some kind of disgusting slug as I looked at stuff in the graphic novel section? I didn't give you guys any dirty looks while you were bashing Watchmen or anything! By the way, all of your reasons were completely bogus: "THE ART IS SOOOO EIGHTIES OMG" "IT DIDN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!" "IT TOOK PLACE IN THE COLD WAR, IT'S SO OUT OF DATE OMG". It literally took all the willpower I had not to facepalm and shake my head in despair. Why are you guys even IN the graphic novel section, anyway, since you clearly don't understand anything about... you know, graphic novels?

Pricks.

I just got back from the film shoot about half an hour ago, and it went pretty well, except for Joe not showing up and calling 45 minutes after we left. But that ended up working out because he wouldn't have fit in the car and there also wouldn't have been anything for him to do, so. Yeah. But other than that it went quite fine, and we finished earlier than I expected. I'll be sure to post the finished product on here, of course.

I really do not like directing, though. I'm so terrible at it. XD

Why, oh why, did I decide to look through the IMDB forums? Why couldn't I have done something more productive, like read a book or clipped my toenails?

Those two hours of my life. GONE.

I got a 4 on both of my AP exams (English and U.S. Government). Hurray! I was expecting it to be much worse than that, especially for the Government one, ahaha.

And thus, everything about my high school career is officially OVER.

But, in the bad news department, I don't have enough money from loans to get a dorm. Er. O_o That could be a bit problematic... ugh, stupid loan company; I said I was getting a dorm, didn't I?! Jesus. What if I don't get another loan in time? I'm not going to have anywhere to live! I don't even know which dorm they've given me yet, so I can't fill out a loan request until I figure out how much I'm gonna wind up paying. And I sent them the damn lifestyle questionnaire a month ago! Aaaarrggh!

ETA: And what the hell is this $7,173 I owe?! Shouldn't my loan cover that? Never mind; it said -$7,173, and it's the difference between the loan and the tuition and stuff. But still. I can't afford this shit; unlike SOME people, my parents aren't rich and can't pay for anything. I might have to withdraw admission from this fucking place if this keeps up. And don't ANYONE mention scholarships; I've had that conversation a million fucking times, so just no one mention it.

God, I'm gonna turn out exactly like my parents. A whole bunch of wasted potential, spending my days in soul-sucking retail.
