Jackie: A Tale of Perversity and Woe

So, I'm probably gonna be gone for a few days since our motel room doesn't have wi-fi or any internet access at all. See you all when I get back! <3

Vacation plans got changed yet again! Rob's dad said he probably wasn't going to be able to make it up to Massachusetts after all, and since he was our ride we had to think of somewhere else to go. Rob suggested the shore, and I was like, "OMG POINT PLEASANT I HAVEN'T BEEN THERE IN FUCKING FOREVER", so we decided to go there the 7th and 8th of August. I just booked the hotel motel room about an hour ago.

Man, I guess I'm actually an adult now or something. Getting hotel motel rooms by the beach with my boyfriend. Kinda cool.

Just a quick update -- wound up not taking that second job at Dunkin' Donuts after all. It was too early in the morning, too far of a walk, and I could just tell it was going to be a disaster. But hopefully they'll be able to give me hours at the register in addition to the bakery, so I'll still be making more money, even if it's not as much as I'd like.

Also, idr if I mentioned this on here, but there's a trip to Boston in the works for August! I was originally just going to go with my parents, but then my dad was all "LOL WHY DON'T YOU INVITE YOUR BOYFRIEND. No, seriously. Invite him." So I did, but then his dad bought him tickets for a Blink-182 concert the day we were supposed to leave. Now the plan is to get there the day after in our own hotel, which is going to be expensive buuttttt we'll only be there for two night so hopefully it'll be okay. My mom is kind of upset, though, because I was supposed to be the one to take them to Penn Station and everything since they don't really know their way around the city. Rob might try to talk to his dad to get him to exchange the tickets for some other day, soooo yeah. IDK at this point. Gotta figure it out soon so we can book the hotel room.

I just got back from my mini-vacation weekend at Brittany's house! It was a fantastic time. It was so nice to be able to take some time off and forget about things for a couple of days.

It was a long ride in -- an hour and a half on the bus, then an hour and a half on the train -- but definitely worth it! We went to Six Flags yesterday, and it was AWESOME. There were no lines so we got to ride pretty much everything in only three hours. Brittany also showed us around the area she grew up in, like the former military base she went to school at for a while, and we went to the Kevin Smith comic book store in Red Bank. But yeah, in general just a good time. I would go into more detail, but I'm kinda tired after we spent today at Coney Island.

But back to the ol' grind tomorrow!

So, a trip back to Bellevue in July may be in the works. I'm really excited. I hope I can work it out and my student loans don't bite me in the ass (but I am trying to not to think about that right now nveio3h4 fuck). I miss it there... I miss the friends I made, and I miss Pike Place Market and Seattle and the nice summer weather and how pretty it is there and yeah. I wanna go back, just for a couple days or so.

In other news... um... that's it.

First day of vacation and I'm already bored as hell. This is gonna be one looooong month, let me tell you.

ETA: I... might want to go to Comic Con this year. In New York. Is anyone else going?

Well, not black, exactly. More like a dumb tourist hoodie because it was cold and the wind was crazy.

Anyway, I'm back from San Francisco, and I had a great time! I suspect that I spent too much money, but I'm one of the biggest cheapskates you'll ever meet so it's probably less than you'd think. I thought the hotel would have free Internet access in the lobby but they didn't, so that kind of pissed me off, and it's also why I haven't been around.

...Actually, looking at my bank account right now, and I definitely have nothing to worry about. Yep. I have more money than before I left, actually.

I just gotta remember -- next week is the San Francisco trip (yay!), and then on July 12th it's fucking FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS. YYESSSS. If my mom didn't lose the tickets, that is... I know I gave them to her because I lose stuff all the time, so I figured they'd be safer in her hands. Let's hope I'm not proven wrong, or I will be so mad the world will explode. I'm not kidding. You do not want to see my wrath. EVER.

I was going to write tonight, but there's a George Carlin marathon on HBO in about an hour, so obviously I must watch it.
