Working two jobs is going to suck, but money is good. Money is needed. And I don't have to take the bus except to FYE! Yay!
Of course, this now means I most definitely can't go to San Francisco with my parents in July, but I wasn't going to go anyway (airfare = expensive), so that's all right. Although I do kinda want to go to Boston randomly for some reason and stay in a hotel. That ain't happening, though. Unless someone wants to go with me, haha.
Fixing keyboard yaaaaay
Nov. 13th, 2009 03:02 amI'm going to FINALLYYYY get my keyboard fixed tomorrow since I also finally got my dorm deposit back earlier this week (I think they still owe me $300 but nvm that right now), so expect me to not be on as much for a little while. How long, I'm not sure. But no longer will I have to copy and paste letters! HURRAAAYYY

STUFF FROM TODAY AND YESTERDAY:
- I've started re-reading all of my Spider-Man stuff, from the beginning. No point in buying all those Essentials if I'm only gonna read 'em once, amirite?
- I want to start writing another novel but I have absolutely no ideas. I feel creatively impotent. I've been feeling incompetent in general lately, though. :/
- I got a letter from SVA today welcoming me to "another academic year". WTF? I was supposed to be un-enrolled from the place! I e-mailed the financial aid guy about this, but he won't be replying until Tuesday, apparently, so I might as well just call on Monday. I swear to God if I'm still not un-enrolled from there (which I strongly suspect is true), I will flip OUT. Unless, through some weird quirk, I can go to the school but I don't have to pay for anything. Which would just be too good to be true, hahaha.
-I watched The Reader last night, and it was all kinds of great.

I just got back from the re-shoot, and the sound is good! It's actually a good thing we had to start earlier, because the wind wasn't quite as bad then. There are the sounds of traffic I have to deal with, but I might be able to fix that... and even if I can't exactly fix it you can still hear what they're saying, so it's all good. Probably.
Now I must appease the Wind Gods by doing ten good deeds. Hey -- I promised, didn't I? And I keep my promises, dammit.
But dear Lord, my shoulder hurts from carrying the equipment back from New Jersey. Anyone know how to do shoulder massages via the Internets? Anyone? Anyone?

HOORAY FINAL CUT PRO!
Mar. 31st, 2009 01:33 amI have my own copy of Final Cut Pro! :DDDDDDDDDD Sean gave me his copy off of his hard-drive. I am so excited you guys; you have no idea. I've just spent the past three hours editing Inverted and I am so jazzed. I would keep editing but I have to go to sleep sometime, ha. But yes, I can finally edit on my own time! Plus I'll be able to learn more and play around with it during the summer, which should help me prepare for Advanced Final Cut Pro next year. GOOD. TIMES.
I feel about 90% better today, you guys! \o/ I still didn't go to acting class, but that was due to 1) not being prepared for the class at all since I've been sick, and 2) I didn't manage to fall asleep until about six o'clock in the morning. Yeah.
But anyway! I still have sort of a cough, and I feel weirdly woozy right now, but it's the kind of woozy that tells me I need to eat chocolate. ...Don't ask. I just need to eat chocolate whenever I kinda feel like I'm going collapse at any second. It just works, okay?

Jan. 26th, 2009 06:54 pmMy school has given me yet another refund, this time for $2045. I'm rollin' in it! I can totally just buy my new Mac and not have to do that stupid credit card thing. Yaaayyy! This has been a fantastic past two days. Hopefully the rest of the week is as good.

Jan. 25th, 2009 01:46 pmMY COMPUTER IS WORKING AGAIN! Well, as well as it ever worked, I suppose. It turns out it wasn't the port that was busted, it was just the adapter, so I got a new one and all is well!
Of course, now I'm out a hundred bucks, but it's worth it. And I'm still getting a Mac, it's just not the State Of Emergency that it was... which is good, because I don't get the credit card for another two weeks and I would've been majorly screwed.
So... yay! Par-tay.

Lit class and Final Project idea
Dec. 11th, 2008 11:34 amToday was the last Lit class of the semester -- HUZZAH! \o/ Although today wasn't so bad, I'm very glad that I won't have to be in that class for another month. Freedom!
In other news, yesterday's Fandom Wank has inspired me. I think I'm going to make a short film about Nice Guys for my final project this year. More people need to be aware of this phenomenon -- so many people (especially dudes) don't see what the problem is with this sort of thing, and it's frightening.
Also, have any of you ever been extremely hungry, but don't particularly want to eat? Because that's what's going on with me right now...

Mar. 1st, 2008 11:50 pmWell, tonight was the last performance, and afterwards awards were given out. There were the ones that everyone got, the "Most Likely To..." ones, and for that I got Most Likely To Be a Drill Sergeant (my character was a drill sergeant). Then there were the ones that were voted on - and I won Best Supporting Actress! :DDDDDD I got chocolate! And a lei! Which I am currently wearing around my head. Then we all went to Red Robin for the cast party, and it was a night filled with much, much hilarity and people eating cake with just their mouths. GOOD. TIMES.
Although, I left my awards in Keely's car. :( And my pants. (...The pants for my COSTUME) I'm sure she'll give them back to me on Monday, though.
