MOM - Yeah...

DAD - And Wolverine can't die, right?

MOM - Yeah...

DAD - So... *to TV* Kiss her!

MOM - But she can kill him.

DAD - How?

MOM - Because she takes away people's powers! So he wouldn't heal and he'd die.

DAD - Oh, so she's more powerful than him.

MOM - Well, no, I wouldn't say she's more powerful.

DAD - If she's the only one who can kill him, that mean she's more powerful, doesn't it?

MOM - But anyone can kill her, and nobody can kill Wolverine.

DAD - Except her! So she's more powerful!

MOM - No, she isn't!

DAD - YES SHE IS OKAY. *to TV* Kiss her!

ETA: Oh, also, watched Natural Born Killers today, and it was brilliant. The cinematography alone!

I think I have a new litmus test for any romantic interests I may have.

You're a keeper if the two of us can dance around, lip-syncing to the Spice Girls, and we're both having a hilarious time. Bonus points if you don't mind me posting it on the Internet for everyone to see.

So, like, there's a sex toy exhibition going on at my school right now. Lawlz.

First day of classes today, and it's an evening one for me: Intro to Film I, from 5:00 to 8:50. I wish I could switch that time to Mondays instead; it'd make next weekend infinitely easier! But oh well... at least I don't have class tomorrow.

I've finished watching all three seasons of Strangers With Candy, plus I finished re-reading America: The Book and am now in the middle of re-reading I Am America (And So Can You!) for the third time. Clearly I have been on a Colbert binge. I've also been re-watching Studio 60. I've forgotten how much I love that show.

But I am running out of my lulz supply! Hopefully by the time I'm done with I Am America my Essential Spider-Man Vol. 6 will have arrived. I was counting on it arriving today, but alas! And I've still got Flight of the Conchords to watch, and Monty Python, and Heroes S1, etc. And when my dad gets back with the stuff in a couple weeks I'll get season1 of Psych. But can anyone recommend me some lulz in literature form?

Also, I've decided not to apply to Borders. I think I might apply to work at AMC, because that way I won't have to pay twelve freaking dollars to go see a movie (unless it's a low-rated movie and I act all cute and adorable so I can get the children's discount -- it's time I start taking advantage of my youthful features!).

You know, looking through the screen-caps for "Run!" and seeing all of the eye-fucking and longing looks and Mohinder staring at Sylar's chest for no apparent reason has reminded me of HOW TOTALLY OBVIOUS THIS SHIP IS. OH MY GOD. IT'S PRACTICALLY CANON. FOR SRS!!!!!!!!!!! I know that's been said about a thousand times, but goddammit, it's still true. The most obvious slash ship in the history of ever.

You know how sometimes you're thinking about something so much that, when someone says something to you, you end up saying whatever it was that you were thinking? Well, that just happened to me---I was thinking about this cool Not!Nathan and Mohinder scene in my head, where it's Not!Nathan's inauguration party, and he decides he's a little horny for Mohinder, so he's walking around the room doing stuff to get Mohinder's attention, like sucking on an olive from a martini glass and whipping off his tie and unbuttoning his shirt a tad. And it works, of course. ^_~

Anyway, I was walking through the living room, and my mom says to me, "I love you", and I mumble "I lovewalkingaroundtheroom". A second later I realized what I said and burst out laughing.
