Leave me alone to die.
Mar. 26th, 2012 04:25 pmSo, I got a stomach flu the night before last and oohhhhh boy has it been a fun two days! Man, I can't even begin to tell you how awesome it is to have the stomach flu and then also have low blood sugar/pressure/whatever and to keep waking up and immediately feel extremely faint and dizzy as soon as you stand up and then fall flat on your face on your way back from the bathroom. And to wake up the next day to a text asking you to please come in early and proceeding to freak out about what to do because obviously you can't work if you can't even stand up for more than a minute but if you don't go then NO ONE WILL BE THERE, and also moneys, then eating some chips and not feeling faint anymore so you decide to go in but at the time you were supposed to instead of earlier, and then spend your entire shift having to go to the bathroom and having all of your bones feel sore and everything tastes bitter and stale so you can't even eat or drink anything, though you NEED to drink things in order to keep from being dehydrated. And deciding to take the next day off, even though it will mean less money that you really, desperately need. And, again, spending half your day in the bathroom.
I'm feeling a little better now, though, at least. I think. I probably should call in tomorrow too, just in case, but I'm not gonna. I won't have to lift heavy boxes and crap tomorrow, at least. Presumably.
