Well, I have just finished watching Season 1 of The West Wing, which is now my new favorite show. It ended on this MAJOR cliffhanger, so I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of Season 2 in the mail. Hurry up, Blockbuster Online!!!!!!
Anyway, The Thespian Festival was on Saturday (for those of you that don't know, a thespian is an actor). The Thespian Festival is an acting competition between different schools, and there you can perform scenes, pantomimes, musical numbers, improvisations, attend acting workshops, put on stage performances, and a bunch of other cool stuff. I was originally supposed to do a scene with Beth from The Apostle John involving a crazy christian converting someone in a bathroom, but unfortunately she had to get four wisdom teeth taken out on Thursday and there was no way she was going to be able to do it. Mere minutes after I found this out I contacted, of all people, Stephen, to do the scene with me instead. I was in a flight of panic, you see, and did not really think about the fact that Stephen is a devout Christian and that there was no way in hell that he would do that scene. And he didn't. So Casey did. BUT! Nobody in our troupe saw the damn scene because the main stage performance they were in had started late! The same thing happened with me and Beth freshman year. I was rather upset. But, I think me and Casey did an excellent job.
I took some pictures, which I probably will not post here because I took them with a disposable camera and I do not have a scanner. If I do manage to get them on the computer, though, I will.
In other news, I have cold sores. They burn like crazy.
