Fucking allergies.

I love spring, but the sneezing and the headaches 'cause of all the pollen? Not such a fan. I was sneezing and blowing my nose at work constantly today. And of course it was very busy. UGH WHY ISN'T THE ASPIRIN WORKING???
*crawls into a hole and naps forever*
Also, watching Easter Unwrapped on the Food Network for no reason. I don't know how unpopular of an opinion this is, but I find ham to be quite disgusting. It's one of the few kinds of pork I will not eat.

For the most part I take these in tablets, like Clarityn, but recently this hasn't worked so well for me, so in extreme cases I use a nasal spray called Beconase. Using this spray correctly twice a day (you have to angle it right and inhale at just the right time, it's ok when you get the hang of it) means I have no problems at all. It's wondrous.
Secondly, I know it's gross, but sometimes, the repeated nose-blowing just makes it worse. There's an inflammation in your nose, and blowing your nose is like scratching a mosquito bite - momentary relief, but it does flare up worse after a while. When mine is really bad, I just stop blowing my nose, breathe through my mouth, and only use tissues on what... emerges. Sorry, I know this is gross. But usually doing that for a while lets it quiet down.
Sorry if I've just loaded you with TMI. But as a fellow sufferer (I'm also allergic to dust and cats), I know what merry hell it can be. Hope I've helped a little.

Hey, I'm allergic to dust and cats too! Well, I used to be allergic to dust, anyway. Years of taking allergy medicine as a kid got me over it, I guess. But yeah, cats. I actually like cats so being allergic to them sucks.
