Love, Loss, And What I Wore

Last night I went to the play that I mentioned in this entry, and it was really good! I recommend it very much. In addition to Cobie Smulders, the cast includes Rachael Harris (the bitchy girlfriend from The Hangover), Penny Fuller, Sherri Shepherd, and Diane Neal. So, if you're in the mood for an off-Broadway play, you should go see it.
After the show, me and Bonner went to the after party (it was the opening night -- the show rotates its cast), and we had some wine and various... "finger foods", I guess you call them? Like shrimp and stuff like that? But anyway, Bonner's mom introduced us to Cobie after a little while. I didn't get any pictures because I figured it would be really rude, and I don't want to be one of Those Fans. After all, this wasn't like a convention or some kind of event for fans, I was a guest at a cast party, so it would've been inappropriate to ask for a picture. Hope I didn't disappoint anyone, haha. But I put some pictures they took during the after-party under the cut.

They were taking the photos behind the table we were sitting at, so there were flashes going off constantly in the small, dark space.
But anyway! Cobie was very nice. And she's quite tall, too, so I'm especially glad I was sitting in a high seat, otherwise I would have felt Very Short, haha. She's just as pretty in person, or prettier, even. We told her we were big fans of the show, and she approved of our approval, and after a brief chat, she was like "It was so nice meeting you two! Now, I'mma go get myself some alcohol! :D" and I was like "Nice" and gave her a thumbs-up like the dork I am, and she laughed, touched my shoulder and said goodbye again and headed to the open bar.
We didn't meet Rachael Harris until the end of the night, but again Bonner's mom introduced us, and we told her how hilarious we think she is, and she seemed so excited and she hugged us for the compliment, haha. Rachael is, like, the opposite of Cobie in the height department. I knew she must be my height because we were both wearing heels and we were at eye level. Bonner later observed that celebrities are always either really tall or really short, and that there's never any in-between, it seems!
So all in all, a good night. I also discovered I don't like red wine, but that's not a surprise.
