I'm so dumb, you guys. I wasted half of my computer's battery for no reason when I was trying to make a playlist for my acting class today, and I don't know what to do. The a/c adapter has not been working this whole week no matter what I do to it, and apparently it takes half of the battery just to START the computer, let alone use it to transfer files into a new one. I have no fucking idea what to do. Is there any way I can, like, buy a new battery or something? Get someone to install it in there? Because I'm kind of freaking out in a major way.

God, I'm so DUMB! *cries*

Oh, and I have a cold sore now. And I can't find that abreva stuff anywhere. Fan-freaking-tastic.

Ooo good! The Best Buy people are (usually) very helpful. When my adapter died on me they let me take my laptop in and try it on a display model adapter to make sure that was the problem before I ended up paying lots of money for a new adapter. (If that made sense) They're used to getting lots of questions, so they won't look at you funny.
