DUMB BUS

I was supposed to be at work at 2:30 today. I was catching the 1:30 bus to get there at 2. I'm on my way there at 1:15 when --

I see the bus go past.

What the fuck. You're fifteen minutes early and you keep going anyway???? Jesus fucking Christ! I was so pissed off. I had to take the 2:30 bus instead and got there half an hour late. Dear Lord. Luckily it wasn't a problem, but still. Man.

I feel like I need a vacation, but I kinda had one already last week. I'm all stressed out for no reason.

...Okay, I actually have plenty of reasons to be stressed out, but still.

ANYWAY, Brittany is planning a trip to Chicago sometime in late October, and I'm thinking I'll go. I'll have to save up some dough, of course, for the train ticket, the hostel, food etc but it should be fun. Though it'll probably be cold as hell, but whatever. I need some fun times. And Brittany's Random Trips (tm) are always fun times.

Guys, go read this book right now if you haven't already because it is great. The plot takes a while to really get moving, but once it does, whoooo boy. I didn't want to put it down, and it's been a while since I've read a new book that's gripped me like that.

Plus, Lisbeth Salander is totally bad-ass and awesome and is my new hero, even if she does have some... issues.

I'm gonna have to get The Girl Who Played With Fire after I finish the rest of my books. I need to decide which one to read next. Decisions, decisions... should I read The Sweet Far Thing, Less Than Zero, the British screenwriters book, or Pride and Prejudice and Zombies?

I've also rented two more RDJ movies for my marathon: A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints and Home for the Holidays. I'll probably watch one tonight.

I actually kind of want to make up a dream cast for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo...
