Jackie: A Tale of Perversity and Woe

I really need a new book. Well, okay, I suppose I don't need one, since I have plenty of excellent books that I can re-read, but I would definitely like to read something new. My current infatuation with Benedict Cumberbatch has me curious about both Frankenstein and the Sherlock Holmes stories, so I'm thinking one of those should probably be my next buy. But which one? And, if I do go with Sherlock, which one should I start out with, do you think? GIVE ME YOUR OPINIONS, FRIENDS.

I'm in the middle of re-reading Lolita right now, though, and I have to say, I think it just might be my favorite book ever. It's just so fucking brilliant. And the prose is just to die for. I will never be able to write like that in my wildest dreams.

Because I clearly have no life, and also no motivation to write, here you go. The idea behind this mix is that most of the songs are from Humbert's point of view, with the exception of one song that is from Lolita's POV and breaks the illusions of the other songs.
