Can you say "bullshit"?

I know this has been talked about to death, but I just have to throw in my two cents.

Livejournal has turned into a den of paranoia. I find it very stressful just to even click the Livejournal link on my favorites list for fear of being bombarded with more bad news. It's all I'm thinking about when I'm on here. I can't even enjoy myself anymore. I'm worrying about my journal, about other people's journals, I'm mad about the fact that this is even happening in the first place, I'm pissed at how the WFI people didn't even know what fanfiction WAS when they started this, and I'm just all-in-all upset.

So, in protest, and taking my cue from someone (I can't seem to remember the username), I've deleted all of my interests and replaced it with one thing: "solidarity_against_internet_witch_hunts". I didn't utilize my interests very much, anyway, and I never had any real use for them.

I'm so fucking angry. I really am. This whole thing is just so ridiculous. Here's an article about it, too. The guys at Six Apart are bastards, plain and simple.

I just hope they don't go after slash next. If they do, LJ is fucked. They'll lose, like 2/3 of their membership, including me.
