First: I'M GOING TO A TAPING OF INSIDE THE ACTOR'S STUDIO ON MONDAY TO SEE... DANIEL RADCLIFFE! I'm going with my friend Clarissa (nimoe). This is so so so so so awesome! I hope nothing goes wrong... it better not, dammit. *excited* I'll let you guys know all about it, of course. :DDD

Second: A couple weeks ago Shutterfly sent me this offer for a free photo book, so I used the offer to make a book of "The Best of Picspam Friday", and it got here today! Yay! It's really cool and shiny. I'll post pictures of it next week on Picspam Wednesday.

I saw him in Equus last year. He's an amazing actor. I was indifferent to him before seeing it, but after I was just awed. It's a little sad that most people just dismiss him as Harry Potter, because those movies really don't give him the chance to show the range of his talents.

Yeah, when I told the people in my class today I was going to see him, this one guy was like, "What the hell is Daniel Radcliffe going to talk about?", and I mentioned Equus, and he said it was probably the only important thing he could possibly discuss. DanRad really IS a good actor, but he just has that cloud of Harry Potter hanging over his head. Hopefully he can manage to move past that. Rupert Grint might have that problem as well, only probably not as much.

One of the reason Dan did Equus was to try to distance himself from being typecast as Potter and let me tell you, for me at least, it worked so well that the next time I saw him in a movie I couldn't make sense of it because the last impression of him I had was of this fucked up teenager who blinded horses in a fit of rage. I hope he can manage to act in something else that can convince people of how great he is.
