Normally I am entirely opposed to standardized testing and the way it has turned schools into test score machines instead of places where you actually learn critical thinking skills. HOWEVER. The WASL is very much working out in my favor. I don't have to take it since I took the HSPAs in NJ last year, so I've been able to sleep in and tomorrow I only have to be in school for one hour. Plus I don't have any homework, except the questions for the Socratic seminar tomorrow. The only disadvantage is that on Thursday I have to be there at 7:30 to prepare for the stupid AP exam, since it's a requirement in Boness's class, but I would've had to go to school that early tomorrow anyway so it all evens out.
But onto other things... I'm taking a bit of a break from fanfic and I'm gonna try to write this idea I have for a short film. When I say "idea" I mean "a vague inkling of what could happen, a rough sketch of the two main characters, and absolutely no idea what the plot actually is". Woot.
