That's pretty much been my evening so far. The good news is that I am now so far along in this fic that there's no way I can stop writing it now. So my defeatist attitude is going to have to take the back seat for a while.

I still don't know if this thing is legitimately any good, as this might be the plottiest fic I've ever written, but I'm excited about it and I'm enjoying writing it for the most part, so that must be a good sign. Hopefully at least some people will enjoy it.
