Obama Dream
Oct. 8th, 2008 12:34 pmI had this odd dream last night. It started off with a flashback back to Obama's high school days, and his mom was putting up this HUGE neon sign in front of his school that said, "HIGH SCHOOL PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA", and she was all beaming proudly on her ladder and Obama was wearing a bow-tie and looked heavily embarrassed.
Then we go to the present, where he's hanging around back at the school for some reason, and one of the janitors goes up to one of the high school kids and says, "I have Obama's gun!" and shows him the gun. Apparently this gun is very special, because Obama had this story about it or something, and the kid starts freaking out and the janitor wants to sell it on the Internet. The kid is hiding it all day while Obama is walking around the school, until finally he decides to make a poster with a picture of the gun on it so he could give the gun back without implicating himself (don't ask me about the logic). There was some other stuff involving Obama and Queen Latifah travelling through other dimensions but I can't remember it too well other than Queen Latifah was having a grand old time.
Anyway, the kid and the janitor bring the poster to Obama and Queen Latifah, and hand him back the gun, saying they have no idea where it came from. Obama is suspicious but accepts the gun back anyway. The kid is still nervous they'll get found out, and Obama can see that he's nervous, so he deduces that they took his gun and starts giving them a stern talking-to about the importance of the gun and why they were wrong to steal it, when I woke up.
...What the hell.
