Cupcakes cupcakes cupcakes!

I finally went to the Crumbs bakery in the city yesterday, and damn, that was a pretty good cupcake! I got the red velvet one and it was moist and the frosting was delicious. It almost makes me want to go order some from their website, but it would actually be cheaper for me to go into the city just to get another cupcake. You need to order six cupcakes at minimum, which is $27, and then shipping is around $18. Yikes! Something like that would have to be saved for a very special occasion. (I'd say my birthday but I'm already getting two cakes -- unless Rob decides to not make me the cookies and cream cake and instead gets me the cupcakes, since I kept talking about them today, lmao).

I might try making red velvet cupcakes soon, since I found an interesting recipe online for them. It calls for cider vinegar and cake flour. I can make my own cake flour but we have absolutely no vinegar in the house so idk. I guess I'll have to buy it, even though I really shouldn't be spending money before vacation. I spent around $60 yesterday, probably. Mostly on the damn taxis (do not ask).

Oh, also, the iced mocha they have at Crumbs is fucking delicious. Next time I am in the city I am going to have to get it because daaaaaaamn.
