I finally caved yesterday and started watching Doctor Who. I was very tempted to start with the 11th doctor because I'm lazy, but don't worry, I wound up starting with the 9th doctor. And I'm really enjoying it so far. I wish I could skip work and watch all of it today, but alas.

Then sometimes it's kinda painful, and a little dumb, and then I swear my revenge on Russel T. Davies. And then Steve Moffat shows up and makes it awesome and peace is restored to the jungle once more. So yeah.

Hooray! It is a lot of fun, but be careful once you hit season 5. With Moffat at the helm it starts to go a bit...well, 'Heroes'-ish in that the time travel starts to have huge gaping, universe-rule-breaking plot holes.

I miss nine. Nine was snazzy.

I LOVE DOCTOR WHO AND SO SHOULD YOU. :3 That's basically how I reacted, too, though - I was like "okay, ENTIRE INTERNET, you've convinced me to start watching, grumble grumble.... DEAR SWEET JESUS THIS SHOW IS AMAZING REAL LIFE WHAT IS THAT I DON'T EVEN." And now here we are.

9 is great, 10 is great, 11 is great, and god, I am so envious of you and your FIRST TIME DOCTOR WHO experience XD Have a blast!

In other news, the new layout is gorgeous~ And makes me want to get back to Mad Men! It's so very Peggy, all strong and about-to-act and isolated but clear sited in the middle of a fucking maelstrom. It's 1h30, I do realize I'm sounding more stupid than usual D: Forgive me!
