All I've got of Doyle is The Return of Sherlock Holmes, which I really enjoyed. I got it at a yard sale for a quarter, and prior to that my only experience with Holmes was watching Picard face off with Moriarity on the Holodeck. ;)
I'm with compactstars on Frankenstein - it's a slim little paperback, and won't take you long. Go with that first, and then two days later, start the Doyle. ;)
