Fuck winter.

It's that time of year again, where I have to wear layers and layers of clothing and feel the biting, cold wind cut across my face as I trudge half a mile to work. I dug my long-sleeved shirts out of the basement tonight, sighing as I did so. I hate winter. But I also hate summer. I might hate summer more then winter, because at least during winter I don't have to shave my legs. And it's a lot easier to get warm when it's cold out than to get to a normal temperature when it is 95 degrees. Not to mention, winter has Christmas. BUT, summer has my birthday.

What about you guys? Which season do you think is the lesser evil?

I LOVE snow and I have a really high tolerance for heat so I can't chose. (The not shaving is pretty boss though. But I also like getting out of bed without hitting cold floor... Ahh choices.)

Summer is the worst ever. D: At least if you're cold you can bundle up more, but you can only get so naked if you're too hot.

Living in South Carolina, our summers are pretty harsh and our winters are fairly mild, but here's how I see it:

Summer = you have to shave your legs, but it's also a much easier temperature transition to go from hot outside to AC inside. Also it makes milkshakes and ice cream more fun. :D Plus swimming is a pretty good time. PLUS no school and my birthday, woot! :D

Winter = it's easier to get warm like you said, but it's stupid to go from outside wearing 300 layers to inside where it's hot and you have to carry all those layers around with you. =/ Also, STATIC ELECTRICITY. I HATE IT. #1 reason I like summer better, I FREAKING HATE IT WHEN MY HAIR GETS ALL STATIC-Y AND MY CAR SHOCKS ME EVERY TIME I GET OUT OF IT. AHHHH. >_< Also I'm always burning my tongue on hot chocolate, and I don't like soup, so winter is less delicious. ALTHOUGH it has Thanksgiving and Christmas.

SUMMER IS ACTUALLY THE DEVIL. Living in Australia I feel I am in a position to confirm this. I'd take 900 Montreal winters over this smouldering humid stifling warmth ;___;

Summer is beautiful and wonderful and perfect and the only good thing about winter is the Christmas season, which I love, and also the one day of snow we usually get out of the whole year. After Christmas, winter sucks so hard. Grrrr.

aww *hugs* it's not so bad. Layers can be fun! and not shaving = win. Not to mention Christmas and the mass outpouring of fanfic that usually occurs around the same time :)
