Film updates and a meme

Things are moving along swiftly with my short film. I just sent an e-mail off to my old high school asking permission to shoot there. It's annoying because I'm gonna have to get a permit from the town, and also because of transportation, but I don't really want to shoot it here. SVA just does not look like a high school, I'm sorry. BHS may look like a mental institution, but it also an actual high school and I would prefer that. Plus Sophie's house is right nearby so we can just hop in the car and shoot the living room scene there. Actually, we may be shooting that first anyway, so never mind.
Auditions are on Friday, although now it's been reduced to an hour because some jerk claimed the studio for my second hour, which is lame. It's five people auditioning so far and I hope I can fit them all in there! I'm not doing callbacks either because the studios here are so impossible to book.
Still need to do the storyboards and location shoot, but I can't do the second one until BHS says I can shoot there. Sigh. Thank God I'm done with all of this shit after this one! At least I like my script.
