An action-packed day!

So, even though we weren't entirely ready, we had to perform our scene from The Odd Couple today in English class... which was basically all of Act I. Man, they screwed up I don't know how many times -- especially Tiffany in the second half; we were jumping around the script like crazy and we missed whole pages of dialogue. I kept having to save everyone, lol. But it turned out well -- Boness said she was giving us an A, so yay! \o/ I love my Oscar Olive costume, though; it was a Steelers baseball hat with a loose button-up shirt and a black tie, and my old jeans that have two huge gaping holes in them. I wore it the rest of the day... well, until a little after I got home. It's my mom's birthday today, so we went into Seattle and ate at this fancy restaurant. Then we went to Barnes and Noble and I caved and bought The Host. I'm not very far into it yet, so I can't give you my verdict. I will when I'm done with it, though. Watch, I'll probably end up joining the fandom... if there is one yet.
And as for the essay I was bitching about in my last entry, one of the assistant principals called me down today and told me that I just had to tack on a lame-ass paragraph at the end to tie it to the prompt in some way and I'd be good to go, since it wouldn't be graded. He said they tried getting a waiver for me but apparently there are absolutely no exceptions ever. Jesus. This state is an asshole.
And now, I must write the rules for this board game we have to make in World History. They just couldn't let me relax my last week of school, could they?
