New York <3
Aug. 23rd, 2009 03:12 pmThe New York City day-trip was yesterday, and I had a good time, even though it was muggy out and the service at the bistro we went to was horrible. But yes. We went to the Rock and Roll Annex, which was interesting, and we went to The Strand where I bought The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and Anna bought some Spider-Man notecards for me (chyyyeah). And then the bistro -- dear Lord. The waiters seemed to have no idea what was going on, and the cheesecake we all had was entirely too expensive.
The day ended sooner than I thought it would, mostly because we had run out of things to do that didn't cost money and didn't involve being outside, but it was still a good day overall. I just loved being in New York again, and teared up a bit on the way home. God, I want to live there again so fucking badly.
19th birthday is tomorrow. What up.
