Further musings.

I am amazed that I still have fifty-five dollars left. I have bought so much crap. I've bought presents for four of my friends, and they better like them, and they better appreciate how nice I am! I bought this Spider-Man comic from the 1970's yesterday; looking at the old ads is very, VERY amusing. ^_^ Man, I've got so much stuff. How am I going to fit it all in my suitcase? O_O
Anyways, I'm still having myself a good time here (not that any of you care). The planned trip to Canada is a no-go because we didn't book the ferry in time (WAH!). So, unless we want to take a four-hour train ride to Vancouver (which I don't), we won't be goin' to "maple syrup and gay marriage" country. Which sucks majorly.
Also, in lieu of possibly-moving-across-the-country, we wouldn't actually be moving to Seattle, we'd be moving to Bellevue or however you spell it. Which makes me upset, because if we're gonna move, I'd like to move somewhere cool instead of some town with a larger-than-necessary mall. We're going there tomorrow. I am sad. :( My mom's interview with the people here went well, so if she decides that we are moving, we are probably moving here.
Anyway! Off from that depressing topic. Downtown Seattle is le cool. We've been walking around everywhere. Good exercise, especially since I've been eating quite a lot. Well, not a LOT a lot, but still a lot. And...yeah. We had McDonald's twice, so I can't have any McD's for the res of the year, which I could care less about.
I haven't made any progress on that Nathan/OC story, except for editing it about, oh, five times. How am I supposed to think about a fic when there's so much stuff to do? I also still need to do my stupid play analysis. I haven't even FINISHED the play I picked. Whatever. I'll do it on the plane ride back. I can read a three act play and type a paper about it in five hours, can't I?

Date: 2007-04-13 12:26 am (UTC)I care about you having a good time. I didn't get you anything, I feel like such a bad friend. You know, if you don't get around to finishing that fic, I'm going to have to finish it for you!

Date: 2007-04-14 02:51 am (UTC)Don't feel bad about not getting me anything. I've just been feeling especially generous. ^_^ Oh, I'm finishing it! One way or another! It's just hard to do it here, because I don't like writing when my mom's in the room, or in a room full of strangers who might look over my shoulder at what I'm doing and see that I'm writing about two gay guys getting it on. :)

Date: 2007-04-14 03:20 am (UTC)True... until I remembered the whole bit about you being allergic to my cats. That is a major kink in my plans. I still can't wait to read it and I know how you feel, about writing with someone in the room. Especially my mom.
