I really have to recommend The Heroin Diaries by Sixx:AM. It's a band formed by Nikki Sixx (of Motley Crue), and their music is based on his journal entries from when he was addicted to heroin and his rehab process. Sounds super heavy, right? Well, a lot of it is really uplifting, actually. The song "Life is Beautiful" is one of my favorite rock songs ever. If I get the chance tonight, I'll upload it for you.
Also, the new GnR album Chinese Democracy is out, I think, and the couple tracks I've heard off that are pretty good. [/metal rant].
