Mad Men

Mad Men was... disturbing. I don't know. It didn't really feel like a Mad Men episode. It felt strange, in a lot of ways I can't really articulate. I think I may need to watch it again.

I think also part of it might be I am so used to watching this show in HD, that when I see it in shitty quality it seems different. (fuck you Direct TV, fuck youuuuu)

Mad Men dream

I had a Mad Men dream last night!

In the dream, Betty was just being this complete bitch to Sally, and Don was feeling powerless to stop her, so he was trying to find a way to cheer Sally up by looking up Flower of the Day articles on Google (...yeah), but for some reason large portions of the Internet were blocked off so he couldn't find anything. So he decides instead to give her a journal so she can make her own Flower of the Day thing, and he tells her, "When things are terrible, sometimes you just have to have a small thing of your own every day to keep you going." He advises her to hide the book from her mother so she can't ruin it for her.

An interesting dream, considering I didn't like Betty in last night's episode, and I usually like Betty and can't stand the way people are always bashing her. Which I assume everyone is going to do even more now. I don't want to see her turn into a 2D bitch, although I'm sure the show has more in store for her than just that. I hope.
