Okay. Let me start at the beginning.
I discovered that I could download the entire season of Heroes off of this P2P network, right? I've been wanting to make a Heroes music video, so I started downloading. I tried a couple of times with several different ones, and I was in the middle of the third one that I had finally decided on downloading, when I checked out the disk space that was available on drive C: so I could see how much disk space I could use and get away with. And I only had 933 MB left.
So, naturally, I started freaking out. I figured that the program I had been using was eating up all my memory by trying to download these files, so I uninstalled the program (which only took up about 0.25 MB, so that didn't really do anything), and did a System Restore---unfortunately, I didn't know that System Restores don't give you memory back, and in fact take your memory away. Now I only had 918 MB left. I started freaking out even more. I didn't know what to do! I started deleting a bunch of programs---The Sims 2, The Sims 2 Uni, my QExpress Installer, Maple Story, and something else I can't remember. I was now up to 4 GB. I started to calm down, but just in case I wanted more space later, I decided to put all my documents and stuff onto a recordable CD. While I was doing this, a pop-up came up telling me that "HeroesHDTV_Epis1-9.avi" was too big to put on the CD. I stared at the screen blankly. No. Surely that was not possible. The downloader had only downloaded 2% of the file! I went back to My Documents and saw a Downloads folder at the bottom. I clicked it---and there were all the different files I had tried to download from that Godforsaken site.
I blinked, and deleted the files. I went to check my disk space.
14.2 GB.
I blinked again.
I sighed and put all my documents on CD anyway, because what the hell.
I am so pissed. I lost all of my Sims 2 stuff. All of it!!!!!! I could care less about Maple Story, but MY SIMS 2 STUFF IS GONE, AND IT'S GONE FOR NO REASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna have to do everything all over again! I just...just...ARGH!!!! >:0
