So, I'm here. I'm having myself a good time so far. Went to the Public Market Place; there is a totally sweet comic book store there that I got a Spider-Man comic in and the Monty Python and the Holy Grail movie script. I also got Anna a present there (not telling what it is, though :p). Surprisingly, it's not raining, although it was incredibly windy earlier. Oh, also! In addition to the comic and script, I got a Charlotte Bronte journal, and IT IS SO BOSS.
Um, what else...this place is rather quiet. There aren't too many people on the streets, unlike NYC, so that's kinda weird. Everything closes really early. Like, REALLY early. I ate at an Irish pub for lunch; had a Danny Boy Special.
The plane ride was five hours long, but it wasn't that bad. I wrote some more of that Heroes fic on the way over, but mostly I just listened to my iPod, which miraculously did not run out of batteries. But the bad part was, I was as sick as a dog the whole trip over. Not throw-up sick, mind you, but stuffy nose and foggy headache sick. Not fun. But Nyquil and Dayquil are gifts from the gods, so I'm okay now. ^_^
So many skater guys here...too bad this isn't a couple years ago, so I could drool all over them! Ha ha.
