Our internet was down for a few days last week (or the week before, actually, I think), and it was oddly... freeing. I was able to finish a book I was reading, and I didn't waste hours and hours of time staring at Tumblr. Granted, I didn't get any writing done, but it was still very nice to not be able to give in to my compulsion to stay on the Internet all fucking night. Maybe I need to get away for a week, to somewhere where I have very little or no access to the Internet. Alone. But it's not gonna happen, of course, since I'm broke and everything.
Also, saw The Avengers on Sunday, AND IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING. By far the best movie that's come out so far this year. I'm probably going to go see it again Wednesday with Rob and his cousin who has returned from his brief stint of living in Florida. Black Widow is my new favorite. Anyone got any of her comics to rec to me?
